Slow drains are easy to ignore. Water still goes down - just slower than it should. But that sluggishness is usually telling you something, and in most cases, grease buildup inside the line is the culprit.

That's exactly what we ran into near Edinger Ave and Edwards St in Huntington Beach. The customer had slow drainage throughout the home. Not one problem drain - all of them. That pattern points pretty clearly to a restriction deeper in the line, not just a surface-level clog.

We snaked the drain line approximately 30 feet in and pulled out heavy grease buildup that had been narrowing the pipe over time. Grease doesn't clog a drain overnight. It coats the inside of the pipe gradually, and by the time you notice the slowdown, there's already a significant amount of buildup restricting flow. That's why catching it early matters.

Once we cleared the line, flow was fully restored. No guessing, no unnecessary upsells - just the work that needed to be done. That's how we approach every drain cleaning job, whether it's a single slow sink or a mainline that's backing up.

If your drains have been sluggish for a while, it's worth having the line checked before it turns into a full stoppage. A simple drain cleaning now is a lot less disruptive than dealing with a backed-up mainline later.
